The successful candidate will assist the management accountant in coordinating, processing and troubleshooting various financial transactions and reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested
- Prepare and maintain department budget layouts Assist with internal and external audit procedures
- Compile financial reports from various accounting software
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees
- Assist in creating financial reports on a regular basis, as well as special projects, when required
- Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures
- Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders when needed
- Attend finance department and company-wide meetings
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost reductions
The ideal applicant will have:
Bachelors degree in accounting or financial management or similar qualification
- Must possess excellent mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of data privacy standards Integrity, honesty
- Customer service skills Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with business principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Organisational and planning skills Critical thinking skills Computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and calculation softwares.
