The successful candidate will assist the management accountant in coordinating, processing and troubleshooting various financial transactions and reports.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested
  • Prepare and maintain department budget layouts Assist with internal and external audit procedures
  • Compile financial reports from various accounting software
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
  • Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees
  • Assist in creating financial reports on a regular basis, as well as special projects, when required
  • Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures
  • Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders when needed
  • Attend finance department and company-wide meetings
  • Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost reductions

The ideal applicant will have:
Bachelors degree in accounting or financial management or similar qualification

  • Must possess excellent mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of data privacy standards Integrity, honesty
  • Customer service skills Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with business principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organisational and planning skills Critical thinking skills Computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and calculation softwares.
